Eni's output in Kazakhstan to be doubled by 2020

LONDON. October 12. KAZINFORM Eni's net output in Kazakhstan is approximately of 100,000 boe/day and will be doubled by 2020.

This is what Massimo Mondazzi, executive vice president for Central Asia, Far East & Pacific, said during the upstream seminar. As to the Kashagan field, the implementation of the remaining onshore and offshore infrastructures, will lead to the commercial output far before June 2013 - a date agreed with the Republic of Kazakhstan. As to Karachaganak, reserves to be placed under production have been estimated to be around 5 million barrels, and output costs are far under Eni's average, AGI reports.
