Endeavour space shuttle reaches orbit after takeoff from Cape Canaveral

WASHINGTON. July 16. KAZINFORM After takeoff from Cape Canaveral in Florida at 23:03 GMT Wednesday, the U.S. space shuttle Endeavour and its seven-strong crew reached the designated orbit and began a flight to the International Space Station, NASA said in a press release, Kazinform cites ITAR-TASS.
The mission will deliver the final segment to the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency's Kibo laboratory and a new crewmember to the International Space Station, the press release said.
Endeavour's 16-day mission includes five spacewalks and the installation of two platforms outside the Japanese module, Kazinform refers to ITAR-TASS.
