Endeavour returns to earth at end of 16-day mission

WASHINGTON. August 1. KAZINFORM. The space shuttle Endeavour touched down at 10:48 a.m. EDT (14:48 GMT) at Kennedy Space Center in Florida, NASA said on Friday; Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.
It was the 23rd flight for Endeavour and the 29th shuttle visit to the International Space Station (ISS).
The shuttle mission lasted 16 days, during which the craft traveled 6.5 million miles (10.5 million kilometers).
