Emergencies Ministry holds telephone conference

The Minister determined a range of problems and issues that require immediate measures in the regions. In addition, he urged to check all channels, dams, stanches and other constructions in accordance with changing of weather conditions on the territory of Kazakhstan that can be followed by the threat of floods, snow-glides and snow drifts in central, eastern and northern regions. He also emphasized the necessity to carry out the work within the anti-crisis program of the Kazakh Government. The main issue became consideration of the Ministry employees? participation in the National Population Census. Heads of emergencies departments of Almaty, East Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan, Mangystau, Atyrau, South Kazakhstan and Karaganda regions reported on the work.
