Embassy of Kazakhstan in Turkey discuss issues of Turkic-speaking states & nationalities coop

ISTANBUL. October 5. KAZINFORM - The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Turkey in order to strengthen and deepen the cooperation of Turkic states and nations held a "round table" timed to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the international cultural organization TURKSOY.

The event was attended by prominent figures, intellectuals, academic and artistic circles of Turkic-speaking countries and nationalities including Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan Mammedova , Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism of Kyrgyzstan Rayev , Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tyva Dongak , Deputy Minister of Culture of Tatarstan Nigmatullina, Secretary General of TURKSOY Kaseinov, Kazakh Ambassador to Turkey Zhanseit Tuimebayev, the first Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the World Association of the Kazakhs, the former Minister of Culture of Kazakhstan Mamashev, the president of the Turkic Academy Ibraev, Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Madumarov (Kyrgyzstan), a famous writer Anar Rzayev and former Minister of Culture of Tatarstan, Bashkortostan and others.

The purpose of the meeting was to preserve and deepen the historical brotherly relations between the Turkic peoples, as well as supporting the development and strengthening of cultural and humanitarian cooperation of Turkic-speaking countries and nationalities.

During the "round table" Zhanseit Tuimebayev informed the Ambassador about the achievements of Kazakhstan's independence in the field of culture and art.
