Eleven hurt in train-car collision in Astrakhan region

"Three people died and eleven were injured. Two injured people are on the critical list," the source said.

The accident occurred at the Delta Buzan station, 34 kilometers away from Astrakhan, at 5:40 p.m. Moscow time. The car rammed a train carrying about 800 workers of the Astrakhan gas processing plant. The car driver was preliminary blamed for the accident. Three train cars came off the rail, the source said; Kazinform cites Itar-Tass.
