Elena Rybakina reaches 2024 Miami Open semifinal

World No 4, Kazakhstani Elena Rybakina reached the WTA 1000 Miami Open final after beating Maria Sakkari from Greece (world No 9), Kazinform News Agency reports citing the Schrodinger’s Sport Telegram channel.
The match lasted for two hours and 45 minutes and ended with the score 7:5, 6:7(4), 6:4.
In semifinal, Rybakina will face Belarusian Victoria Azarenka.
Earlier, she defeated U.S. player Madison Keys in the quarterfinal competition.
