Election to UNHRC is a recognition of Kazakhstan's achievements: Sabirov

ALMATY. November 14. KAZINFORM Shavkat Sabirov, president of the association of legal entities "Internet Association of Kazakhstan", thinks Kazakhstan's election to the UN Human Rights Council is a positive experience.
"It is a merited recognition of Kazakhstan and its achievements in the international arena. Everybody remembers how successful Kazakhstan was as a chair of the OSCE in 2010 and of the OIC in 2011," he told Kazinform correspondent.
According to Shavkat Sabirov, this membership is of paramount importance for Kazakhstan. The UN Human Rights Council deals with a lot of issues from nuclear problems to migration. Kazakhstan has a wonderful opportunity to participate in the solution of global problems of the humankind, and fight for human rights at the highest level. However, this is also a huge responsibility. "But I am sure Kazakhstan will go the distance," he adds.
