Eid al-Adha unites people - Governor of Almaty region

TALDYKORGAN. KAZINFORM - Governor of Almaty region Amandyk Batalov has performed salah at a mosque this morning.
"Eid al-Adha is the greatest religious holiday for Muslims. It symbolizes mercifulness, compassion to the needy people and peace on earth. Thanks to wise policy of our President Nursultan Nazarbayev, representatives of various religions and confessions live peacefully in our country," governor Batalov said congratulating people of the region on the holiday. In his words, Eid al-Adha unites people. On this day they attend mosques, perform salah and give sadaqa to the poor.
