EIB provides loan to Kazakhstan in amount of EUR 1 bln on mild conditions - N.Nazarbayev

WASHINGTON. April 14. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The European Investment Bank is providing a loan to Kazakhstan in the amount of EUR 1 bln on mild conditions.
President Nursultan Nazarbayev has said it at a briefing after the second session of the Nuclear Security Summit held in the Washington Congress Center.
"We have recently been in Brussels in order to meet with President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy. And we signed the Framework Agreement on use of the European Investment Bank which provides about EUR 1 bln for us", N.Nazarbayev said.
He noted tat the loan provided by the Bank is soft, with a low interest rate and holidays, which are necessary for implementation of the country's industrial-innovative policy.
