EEC, Belarus-Kazakhstan-Russia business dialogue sign memorandum of cooperation

MOSCOW. June 19. KAZINFORM The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and the Belarus-Kazakhstan-Russia business dialogue have signed a memorandum of cooperation.

The document was inked by Chairman of the EEC Board Viktor Khristenko, Chairman of the Confederation of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Belarus Anatoly Kharlap, Chairman of the National Economic Chamber of Kazakhstan Ablai Myrzakhmetov and President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Alexander Shokhin, BelTA learnt from the EEC press service.

The memorandum provides for close business cooperation in the Eurasian space and the Eurasian Economic Commission. The document envisages an active participation of the Troika business dialogue in the development of the legal framework of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space.

According to the document, EEC will cooperate with the Belarus-Kazakhstan-Russia business dialogue within the Advisory Council, the EEC permanent communication platform for integration development and macro economy; business activity; financial sector; industry; agro-industrial sector; mutual and foreign trade; technical regulations; sanitary, veterinary and phytosanitary measures; customs administration; energy and natural monopolies; transport and infrastructure; competition and antimonopoly regulation; protection of results of intellectual activity, Kazinform has learnt from BelTA.

The memorandum was signed in Saint Petersburg on 15 June after the business forum "Single Economic Space: New Opportunities for Industrial Development".
