Education Ministry develops programs on preparation of specialists for 2nd phase of industrialization program

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan develops educational programs on preparation of specialists for the second phase of the industrial and innovative development of the country, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Kazakhstan Takhir Balykbayev told at CCS media briefing.

The Deputy Minister reminded that the Head of State set a task on preparation of the specialists within the second phase of the industrial and innovative development of the country. The funds have been allocated for development of the material resources of the universities.

As T. Balykbayev noted, the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan worked on implementation of the instructions of the President.

"Universities, colleges have already been selected and special programs are being developed. Since this year, 1900 grants will be allocated for the master's degree program. Later, the number of grants will be increased in future. According to the preliminary estimations, the need for specialists with higher education will be about 3 thousand people every year," T. Balykbayev said.

"Presently, the funds for development of the material resources and establishment of the laboratories of the internal level have been allocated," he added.
