ISTANBUL. June 8. KAZINFORM /Yernur Akanbai/ Economic dimension is one of the key directions of the CICA. Its relevance in terms of the global crisis has been growing steadily. Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev has said it at the III CICA Summit in Istanbul today.
According to the President, Asia is becoming "a locomotive" of the world economy. Today the CICA unites the states providing the third of the world GDP. The Head of the State considers that the global crisis gives us a unique chance to build a new architecture of the global economy based on adequate monetary-financial system.
According to N. Nazarbayev, the current situation in Europe shows that the world financial crisis has not finished yet, its future is unclear.
