"Implementing the anti-recessionary program, Kazakhstan has not only correctly and adequately responded to crisis challenges, but improved business climate. It is sufficient to note that we did not allow a recession in 2009, and the measures taken by Kazakhstan on countering negative consequences of the global financial-economic crisis were highly appraised by leading world financial institutions", the head of the diplomatic mission emphasized.

Kazakhstan's economy demonstrates good growth rates: the GDP increased by 7.2 percent. Kazakhstan is 54th in the world in terms of GDP, 36th - among the European countries, 17th - in Asia. Our country is 12th among 57 countries of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, the Ambassador noted.

As B.Zheksembin informed, the industrial output in the real sector of economy made up USD 71.7 bln in January-November 2010. The processing industry increased by 18.8 percent. The foreign trade turnover made up USD 67.4 bln and increased by 19.2 percent.

Today the average monthly nominal wage makes up KZT 77,800 (USD 528). The country's international reserves, including resources of the National Fund (USD 29.4 bln), makes up USD 58.4 bln.

"At present Kazakhstan implements the State Program of Forced Industrial and Innovative Development. Fruits of the first year of the Program will be 152 projects amounting to KZT 805 bln (USD 5.5 bln).

The above data is a result of a correct strategy, anti-crisis measures and powerful financial support of economy", the diplomat said.
