Economic coop - major issue of CIS Prime Ministers' session

YALTA. November 20. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ The agenda of today's session of the CIS Prime Ministers in Yalta included over 20 issues. Majority of them regard economic problems, Head of the Ukrainian Government Yulia Timoschenko has said at a briefing.

"Today we have adopted a decision on joint measures of the CIS on overcoming the negative impact of the global financial crisis. The plan on its realization should play a key role in recovery of our economies", Y. Timoschenko said.
According to her, there was also signed an Agreement on coordinated development of international transport corridors passing the territories of the CIS countries.
"We also signed an agreement on struggle against such diseases as HIV/AIDS", she said.
As earlier reported, the sitting adopted a Concept of cooperation in energy. The next summit is scheduled for May 2010 in Moscow.
