Economic and regional policy committee held visiting session in Karaganda

RAGANDA. October 22. KAZINFORM /Olga Petrenko/ Economic and Regional Policy Committee of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament held a visiting session in Karaganda to discuss the progress of implementation of the country's accelerated industrial innovative development program.
The senators visited a number of facilities launched within the framework of the program. As a whole, 227 projects totaling KZT 900 billion were put into service throughout Kazakhstan for a year and a half. Of them, 18 projects worth KZT 76.3 billion were implemented in Karaganda region. More than 1300 new jobs were created there. Till the end of the year it is planned to launch 15 more investment projects to the amount of KZT 42 billion.
