EBRD to channel USD 200 to boost oil and gas sector of Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) signed a syndicated loan in Kazakhstan to implement ecologically clean technologies and raise efficiency of petroleum operations, 24.kz reports.
The EBRD allocates USD 200 mln for Kom-Munai, ф private company working in the Mangystau region of Kazakhstan. It is an affiliated company of OMV Petrom SA, the largest oil and gas producer of Romania, the EBRD client in the past. The bank will co-finance the loan along with other commercial banks.
