EBRD President T. Mirow: Central Asia - very important region for our investments

ASTANA. May 21. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Asia plays more important role for us to date, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Thomas Mirow said at a press conference in Astana today.
"Central Asia is a very important sphere for our investments. Asian companies express more interest in this region and cooperation with us", T. Mirow noted.
As the EBRD President highlighted, "that is why, the EBRD Annual Meeting and Business Forum was held in Kazakhstan, which is located at the crossroads of Asia and Europe". T. Mirow thanked also the Kazakh side for excellent organization of the event.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is the international financial institution founded in 1991 for the support of market economy in Central Europe and Central Asia. To date the EBRD unites 61 countries and two international organizations.
