EBRD invested USD 4 bln in 130 projects in Kazakhstan - T. Mirow

ASTANA. May 19. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has invested USD 4 bln in 130 projects in various sectors of Kazakhstan economy, President of the Bank Thomas Mirow has informed of it at the Investment Forum in Astana today.
According to him, the EBRD mobilized additional investments exceeding EUR 7 bln or USD 8 bln, as a result of which the total volume of investments in Kazakhstan economy has made about USD 12 bln.
"70% of the projects are concentrated in private sector", T. Mirow added.
