Ebola cases in DR Congo reach 933, death toll climbs to 245

The Democratic Republic of the Congo has recorded 933 confirmed Ebola infections, with the outbreak claiming 245 lives so far, according to the country's health authorities, Qazinform News Agency cites WAM.
Addressing reporters in Ituri Province, the region where the current outbreak was first detected, Health Minister Samuel Roger Kamba said that 80 patients have successfully recovered from the disease and have been discharged from specialized Ebola treatment facilities.
Earlier, Qazinform reported Ebola outbreak cases surge nearly 40% in a week.
