Earthquake hits Kyrgyzstan

An earthquake with a magnitude of about 6 at the epicenter occurred today in the territory of Kyrgyzstan at 12.22 local time, KABAR Agency reports citing the Institute of Seismology.
The epicentre of the earthquake was 35 km northwest of the city of Cholpon-Ata, 40 km south of Almaty, 190 km north of Bishkek.
The intensity of the earthquake made 4 points in the city of Cholpon-Ata, 3.5 points in Bishkek, at the Kumtor mine, and Karakol.
