Early presidential elections welcomed by Kazakhstani businessmen

"The National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan fully supports the decision of the Head of State to hold early presidential elections," Mr. Myrzakhmetov said. "The forecasts made for the global economy and economies of our key trade partners don't give cause for optimism. What we see is struggling economies, falling growth rates and growing unemployment in these countries. At the same time, Kazakhstan has everything in place to stay on top and help its economy develop stably," he noted. "The Head of State initiated the Nurly zhol - Path to the Future program that gives green light to several infrastructure projects and will create hundreds of thousands of new jobs," Mr. Myrzakhmetov said. "President Nazarbayev also initiated measures to support small and medium-sized business. Kazakhstani entrepreneurs have always supported and will support stable and gradual development of the country. In this context, we fully support the decision of the Head of State to hold snap presidential elections. We are confident that the elections will enable Kazakhstan to overcome all challenges," he added.
