Each year more than 6,000 experienced police officers quit - Internal Affairs Ministry of Kazakhstan
"Poor security, unresolved social problems, increase the psychological and emotional stress, reduce the attractiveness of the profession of police cause permanent outflow of the most skillful staff, which leads to a noticeable erosion of professional core, lower the prestige of service in the internal affairs departments", said the minister.
According to him, the analysis of the staffing situation indicates a high turnover of staff, and that adversely affects the efficiency of the operational activity of the whole system of the Internal Affairs Ministry.
"Every year, lmore than 6,000 employees with extensive experience are resigning, which affects the professional core. Currently, the criminal police departments percentage of employees who have worked for at least 5 years is 65.8%, in the investigative agencies - 66.6%, among wardens - 64.2%, " added. K.Kassymov.
The minister also stressed that such statistics shows, in particular, the need to strengthen social protection of the police.
