E Kazakhstan industrial output reduced by 3.8%

UST KAMENOGORSK. October 15. KAZINFORM /Ludmila Malko/ The volume of industrial output in East Kazakhstan reduced by 3.8% in three quarters of 2009, the statistics department of the region informed.
Slowdown is mostly recorded in processing industry (9%) and in electricity production and distribution (3.2%).
In agriculture the GDP rose by more than 10%.
The volume of cargo turnover in the region lowered by 4.9% compared to the third quarter of the last year. Investments in main capital were reduced by almost 22%.
