E Kazakhstan delegation discussed coop with the Austrian Styria

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A delegation of the East Kazakhstan region headed by the First Deputy Governor Yermek Kosherbayev has paid a working visit to the Austrian federal state of Styria, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported.

Kazakhstan delegation held meetings with the leadership of the Economic Chamber of Styria and the Styrian Government representatives in order to identify priority areas of cooperation between the East Kazakhstan region and Styria. During these meetings, the Austrian side was presented investment opportunities in East Kazakhstan, proposed cooperation in the field of investment projects. The parties have discussed the draft Memorandum of Cooperation between the Government of Styria and East Kazakhstan region. The memo will provide for the establishment of partnership relations between the regions of Kazakhstan and Austria in the field of economics, tourism, research, technology, agriculture, healthcare and other industries. The delegation of the federal state of Styria will visit the region of Kazakhstan in 2015.
