Dust storm approaches southern, western Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - According to Kazhydromet, Kazakhstan's national forecaster, occasional rains will hit northern Kazakhstan today. As for the south and west of the country, dust storm is expected.
In the Akmola region there will be thunderstorm, hail and torrential rains. Wind is expected to strengthen up to 15-20 m/s. Strong wind and hail are coming to the North Kazakhstan, Pavlodar and Karaganda regions. In addition, stiff wind will persist in the Kostanay, Almaty, East Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, Kyzylorda, South Kazakhstan, Mangystau, Aktobe, Atyrau and West Kazakhstan regions.
