Dushanbe Four presidents debated security and economic coop issues

DUSHANBE. September 2. KAZINFORM /Arnur Mukhametkarim/ Today the presidents of the Dushanbe Four including Afghanistan, Pakistan, Russia and Tajikistan have discussed the security issues in Central Asia and prospects of the trade-economic cooperation in this region during a meeting.
President of Tajikistan Emomalii Rahmon noted at a press conference, that the sides discussed the current situation in the region, the cooperation matter in the security sphere, the trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian fields as well as other topics which represent mutual interest.
Following results of the meeting Hamid Karzai, Dmitry Medveded, Asif Ali Zardari and Emomalii Rahmon signed a joint statement on results of the third meeting of the Dushanbe Four leaders.
