Dual education introduced in more than 100 colleges of country

"Presently, the elements of dual education in training of specialists for agriculture, transport, metallurgic, engineering, oil and gas, chemical and mining spheres are introduced in more than 100 technical and vocational education organizations," the statement reads.
The statement also reads that introduction of the dual education system will allow to involve more than 100 enterprises in training of specialists this year. Besides, training of specialists on more than 120 specialties will be held in accordance with a new method of 70% practice at productions.
These measures on the basis of mutually beneficial cooperation will allow enterprises to hire fully trained and ready specialists.
Besides, employers will be taking part in development of professional standards. Development of professional standards on 147 priority specialties of technical and vocational education is held jointly with the World Bank within the framework of the project on modernization of technical and vocational education. These standards will become the basis for the national qualification system.
Moreover, development of professional standards on 5 pedagogical specialties of technical and vocational education is being presently held in country.
The work on establishment of independent proficiency testing centers on the basis of "KazEnergy", Republican Association of Mining and Metallurgical Enterprises and the Kazakhstan Tourism Association is held.
It should be noted that establishment of these centers will allow to separate rendering of education services from the assessment of the quality of these services and assigning of qualifications.
