Domestic manufacturers attracted to realization of Space rocket complex "Baiterek" project

ASTANA. February 2. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ "Domestic manufacturers are attracted to realization of Space rocket complex "Baiterek" project", Director General of "Baiterek" Joint Russian-Kazakh Venture" JSC Ivan Idrissov has said today at the meeting of the board of the Kazakh National Space Agency.
"I would like to note that we perform activities on increase of the Kazakh content in realization of the project. In this regard, the issue of attraction of the Petropavlovsk heavy engineering plant and "Gidromash Arion" Investment Company from Uralsk city to production of a part of the equipment of the complex were discussed", the Director General said.
According to him, this step will provide a powerful impetus for development of the domestic industry and promote the image and competitive ability of the Kazakh industry.
