Domestic enterprises' productivity - one of major issues of Kazakhstan's state economic policy
President Nursultan Nazarbayev has told this in his State-of-the-Nation Address "New Decade. New Economic Growth. New opportunities for Kazakhstan" at the beginning of 2010.
According to him, the Kazakh worker manufactures annual production worth USD 17 thousand in an average, and the same index in the developed countries exceeds USD 90 thousand.
"We need to correct the situation - improve productivity and introduce innovations," the President emphasized. Productivity of the domestic enterprises became one of the major issues of the state economic policy of Kazakhstan for the nearest 10 years.
In February, 2011, Prime Minister Karim Massimov noted that the state is ready to render support to the domestic business in increasing labor productivity. But he outlined that the enterprises should make initiatives, not only question, but come with ready decisions. The Productivity-2020 program is developed by the Ministry of Industry of New Technologies and presented by Minister Asset Issekeshev in spring, 2011.
