Kazakhstan and Cyprus agree to step up air communications

During the official meeting between deputy prime minister – foreign minister of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu and foreign minister of Cyprus Constantinos Kombos on March 24, a memorandum of mutual understanding on air communications was signed, Kazinform News Agency reports.

The document allows both countries’ airlines to operate up to seven flights a week.

According it, Kazakhstani airlines could run flights to Larnaca and Paphos, and Cyprus air companies to Astana and Almaty.

It is said the signing of the document promotes greater economic, business and tourist ties between the countries.
