Dimash Qudaibergen to headline major Turkic cultural festival in Altay
Kazakhstan’s world-renowned singer Dimash Qudaibergen will headline a large-scale ethnocultural festival in the East Kazakhstan region (historic Altay) from July 10 to 12, Qazinform News Agency reports, citing DimashNews.
This summer, the East Kazakhstan region will host the major event “Altay – The Golden Cradle of the Turkic World,” which will bring together elements of rich history, heritage, nature, and contemporary culture.

The event will also feature the traditional Kazakh alaman baiga, a long-distance horse race across natural terrain, along with craft fairs and ethnocultural activities, and a large-scale gala concert featuring renowned performers.

The event will take place in Katon-Karagai village, located in the Katon-Karagai district of the East Kazakhstan region (historic Altay).
Entry to the festival will be free.
