Dialogue platform to debate Kazakhstan's charter issues

Besides, the Committee held a sitting on charter operations in Kazakhstan for the tourist season ahead. Following up the results of the meeting Vice Minister of Industry and New Technologies Nurlan Sauranbayev charged the Commitee to host a roundtableinvolving the reps of the Civil Aviation Committee, tour operators and air carriers on charter operations for tourists and determining the common position on the this issue.

As earlier reported, lots of Kazakhstanis faced the problem of returning home last June as a result of the Turkish SKY air company's bankruptcy and financial problems of the Turkish Qualitum Tourism tour company. In this regard, the Transport and Communications Ministry of Kazakhstan reconsidered the norms of licensing international non-scheduled flights related to commercial air transportation on the territory of Kazakhstan.
