Development of lightning industry in Kazakhstan eyed at Astana seminar

ASTANA. August 23. KAZINFORM A seminar on The prospects of development of the lightning industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan has kicked off in the capital of Kazakhstan - Astana this morning.
"Implementation of the energy-saving policy is one of the key tools of modernization of industry, housing and utilities infrastructure and transport sector. Successful energy-saving policy and promotion of energy efficiency will ensure energy and environmental security of the country," Albert Rau, the First Vice Minister of Industry and New Technologies said in his opening remarks at the event.
Participants of the seminar discussed the "Energy Conservation-2020" program and further development of the lightning industry.
