Development of coop between customs agencies of Bulgaria and Kazakhstan discussed
The Kazakh Diplomat informed the interlocutor of the main provisions of the President's Address to the nation in 2010, Strategic Development Plan of the country till 2020, priorities of Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship, initiatives of Kazakhstan in the field of non-proliferation of nuclear weapons and state policy in the field of interethnic and interconfessional accord.
The Head of the Bulgarian Customs Agency was interested in the Customs Union between Kazakhstan, Belarus and Russia, complimenting the simplification of delivery procedures of Bulgarian and other goods to Kazakh customers within the single customs territory of three states. The interlocutor paid special interest to the mechanism of customs duties in regard to the goods from third countries including Bulgaria.
The Head of the Kazakh diplomatic mission said that in order to develop Kazakh-Bulgarian relations in new conditions the necessity of more effective coordination of the customs issues at both bilateral and within the sectoral councils of international organizations arose. Actualization of agreements in the field of customs statistics of mutual and foreign trade as well as assistance in customs affairs can be high priority measures.
