Deterioration level in housing made 70% in Kazakhstan – Housing and Utilities Infrastructure Agency

ASTANA. February 2. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ The level of deterioration of the facilities in communal infrastructure made 70%l Chairman of the Kazakh Agency on Construction and Housing and Utilities Infrastructure Serik Nokin has informed of it today.
"The current state of the communal sector is characterized by the following indexes: the level of deterioration of the facilities in communal infrastructure made 70%. Waste water reclamation plants and district heating have the highest level of deterioration - 74% and 73% respectively", - S. Nokin said.
According to him there is also lost of recourses connected with the deterioration of the utility system, in particular, water - 32% and heat power - 35%.
"Therefore, as was mentioned in the President's Address our work will be firstly directed for modernization of housing and public utilities along with the reduction of operational costs and implementation of resource saving technology", - he noted.
