MINSK. April 20. KAZINFORM Ousted Kyrgyz president Kurmanbek Bakiyev and his family are currently in Minsk under the protection of the authorities, the Belarusian president said on Tuesday; Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.
"Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev and his family are in Minsk under the protection of our state and under my personal [protection]," Alexander Lukashenko said.
He added that Bakiyev had arrived in Bishkek on Monday night; Kazinform cites RIA Novosti.
