Denis Yevseyev advances in ATP singles rankings

The Association of Tennis Professionals updated its singles and doubles rankings, Kazinform News Agency reports via Sports.kz.

Novak Jokovic remains world No 1. Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz is second, and Daniil Medvedev from Russia stands third.

Kazakhstan’s No 1 Alexander Bublik retained his 32nd position, while Beibit Zhukayev lost two spots and ranks now 188th.Denis Yevseyev skyrocketed by 29 lines and occupies 197th position now.

Last week, Yevseyev reached the ATP Challenger Copa Faulcombridge 2023 semifinals in Valencia, Spain, where he lost to local player Roberto Bautista Agut.

Austin Krajicek from the U.S., Croatian Ivan Dodig and Indian athlete Rohan Bopanna top the doubles rankings.

As for Kazakhstani players, Alexander Nedovyesov did not change his position and holds 44th line, while Andrey Golubev climbed one position up and stands 60th.
