Denis Matsuyev thanked Kazakh President for Astana Piano Passion successful holding

In his address Denis Matsuyev noted that the first international festival of classical music and a competition for young pianists «Astana Piano Passion» had become a unique event for the music world.

According to Matsuev's letter, a special role in the success of this event has played atmosphere of Astana.

"I have visited many capitals and can assure you that today Astana can be attributed to the best capitals of the world. The city poses a special spirit, inspiration and, of course, your love. I have met with a lot of people who are sure that you have not just set up this city. You breathed into it a special creative energy, " the letter reads.

D. Matsuyev thanked the President of Kazakhstan for him to have been entrusted the role of artistic director of the festival, and said that the competition had identified thirty outstanding young pianists. "They will come out on the best stages of the world, but always remember that their road to success started here in this amazing city", Matsueyv wrote.

The Russian pianist emphasized that members of the jury, outstanding musicians and world-renowned teachers noted the high level of training of pianists of our republic.

"I am confident that they will be able to represent Kazakhstan at the world's most prestigious musical events. These kids are the pride and the future of your country," the letter said.
