Defense Minister and Majilismen discuss issues on Kazakh army improvement

Minister of Defense Adilbek Dzhaksybekov informed the deputies of development of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan, emphasizing that meetings with parliamentarians became a good tradition. He noted that creation of a modern army is not only modernization of equipment and weapons, but, first of all, training of a new generation of military specialists. Promotion of the prestige of military service and social status of servicemen is an integral part of improvement of the human capacity.

Issues regarding improvement of the military service and social security legislation were discussed at the meeting. The participants outlined that further efforts to improve the army will allow reaching quality changes in combat readiness of the Armed Forces in the light of the requirements of the President-Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
