Death toll in Karaganda rgn mine explosion rises to 22
The death toll in the Kostenko mine accident in Karaganda region has risen to 22, the official data says, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.

25 miners are still under the ground, it was said.
Earlier it was reported that a fire presumably caused by a methane gas explosion occurred in the Kostenko mine in Karaganda region.
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed his condolences to the family members and close ones of the killed miners, assigned to terminate investment cooperation with ArcelorMittal Temirtau.
A criminal investigation into the accident has been launched.
Earlier it was reported that Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had arrived at the accident site in Karaganda region to determine the circumstances of the accident and adpot the appropriate measures.
