Deadly car crash claims lives of 2 people in Almaty region

TALDYKORGAN. KAZINFORM - Two people were killed and four severely injured in a deadly road accident in the Almaty region yesterday, police says.
The car crash involving the Mercedes and the Mitsubishi Galant vehicles occurred at the Sarybai bi-Uzynagash-Besmoinak highway. According to the police, the Mercedes driver crossed into the oncoming lane, lost control of his car and rammed into the Mitsubishi. As a result of the collision, the Mitsubishi Galant driver and one of the passengers travelling in the Mercedes died straight away. Paramedics rushed four other people to a local hospital.
