Days of Almaty Culture opened in South Korean city Daegu

ALMATY. August 6. KAZINFORM /Yekaterina Ionova/ South Korean city of Daegu held an opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of Almaty which was attended by Mayor of Almaty Akhmetzhan Yessimov and Mayor of Daegu Kim Bum-il.
According to the press service of the municipal Akimat, a gala-concert with the participation of famous Kazakhstani artists - singers Nurzhamal Ussenbayeva, Aigul Kossanova, dombra player Assylbek Ensepov, Arnau duet and Sazgen Sazt folklore-ethnographic ensemble.
Within the event the Kazakh side will also organize a photo-exposition about Almaty, an exhibition of applied art, old jewelries and artifacts.
Daegu is one of the largest and populated cities of South Korea specializing in export goods production.
