Day of Kazakh Economy held in Dusseldorf

LIN-BRUSSELS. September 10. KAZINFORM /Yerzhan Ospanov/ Kazakh delegation headed by Kazakh Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Bakhyt Sultanov took part in the Day of the Kazakh Economy Wednesday in the industrial center of Germany and Europe Dusseldorf - capital city of North Rhine-Westphalia Federal Land (NRW).

The event was held with the support of the Commerce and Industry Chamber of Cologne and "Metro Cash and Carry" company, headquarters of which is located in Dusseldorf. The company is realizing a breakthrough project on construction of a supermarket network in Kazakhstan. As the member of the board of the company informed, the first supermarket will be put into operation this year in Astana.

Dieter Duringer, the Head of CIS & China Operations, CLAAS Group complimented the perspective directions of cooperation with Kazakhstan in the agricultural sector. The company presented to the Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture and "KazAgro" JSC its proposals on the second phase of realization of the project on "Kserion" tractor assembly in Kazakhstan.

CEO of "Tau-Ken-Samruk" JSC Murat Murtazayev and Director of Corporate Development of "ThyssenKrupp Services AG" Klaus Potthoff signed a memo of cooperation in the ore mining sector of Kazakhstan.

Within the visit B.Sultanov held a number of bilateral meetings with heads of the regional economic departments of Germany.
