Danish climate committee recommends energy plans

COPENHAGEN. September 29. KAZINFORM A new government report recommends 40 ways for Denmark to become independent of fossil fuels by 2050. Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
Tuesday's report, released by the Danish Commission on Climate Change Policy, took more than two and a half years to complete, the Politiken newspaper reported.
The report, which advanced 40 recommendations for Denmark's climate strategy, focused on three main aspects, including the construction of large offshore wind turbines to improve different forms of energy storage and conversion efficiency.
The second aspect included the use of new insulation materials and efficient energy-saving heating systems to lower by 60 percent the costs of heating a house.
