D. Akhmetov familiarized with Kazzinc facilities

He visited the Maleyev mine in Zyryanovsk district where he went down a shaft with the heads of Kazzinc where he familiarized with the sinking and drilling operations and the whole process of work conducted in shafts. Later, D. Akhmetov visited sulfuric and zinc productions, copper electrowinning plants and administrative complexes in Ust-Kamenogorsk. The head of the region was accompanied by Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Kazzinc-Holding" Nikolay Popovich, Director General of "Kazzinc" Yury Gusev and managing director for development Andrey Lazarev. During the visit, the sides exchanged opinions about the problematic issues regarding globally falling prices for nonferrous metals. As earlier reported, Danial Akhmetov was appointed Governor of East Kazakhstan region on November 11, 2014.
