Czech President to visit Kazakhstan in November

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The strengthening of the Kazakh-Czech relations including between parliamentarians of the two countries has been discussed on Tuesday by Majilis Chairman Kabibulla Dzhakupov and members of the parliamentary delegation of the Czech Republic headed by Vice-Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies Vojtěch Filip, the press service of the Majilis informs.

Kabibulla Dzhakupov noted that the Czech Republic is an important political and trade partner of our country in Central Europe and, more generally, in the European Union. Majilis speaker said that the planned visit of the first President of the Czech Republic Miloš Zeman in Kazakhstan will further expand cooperation between the two states. In his turn, the Vice-Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies expressed confidence that parliamentary diplomacy plays an important role in further effective collaboration of the two states. K. Dzhakupov expressed hope that the Czech Republic will support Kazakhstan's bid for UN Security Council non-permanent membership for 2017-2018s. Majilis Speaker conveyed an invitation to the President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic to visit Kazakhstan.
