Czech President praises Kazakhstani model of inter-ethnic accord

At the meeting the sides exchanged views on a wide range of issues related to Kazakhstani-Czech relations and international agenda. The Kazakh Senate Speaker commended the dynamic development of inter-parliamentary ties betwee the two nations and told his guest about the work done by the upper chamber of the Kazakh Parliament. The Czech President expressed interest in the bill "On official development assistance" currently reviewed by Kazakhstani parliamentarians. According to Mr. Tokayev, Kazakhstan considers development assistance as an important element of international cooperation. As the head of the Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev also briefed Miloš Zeman on the preparations for the 5th Congress scheduled for 2015. The President of the Czech Republic, in turn, highly estimated Kazakhstani model of inter-ethnic and inter-confessional peace and accord.
