Customs Union establishment to benefit economies of Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus - Karim Massimov

SAINT PETERSBURG. May 21. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ The Customs Union establishment will benefit economies of Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus. Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov has said at a session of the Supreme body of the Customs Union at the level of heads of government.

"I am convinced, and President Nursultan Nazarbayev told us that, as the final result, the Customs Union will benefit economies, honest entrepreneurs of all countries - Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan", K.Massimov said.

The Kazakh noted that for the first time on the post-Soviet space there appeared a union in which decisions are really taken and executed.

According to K.Massimov, the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Belarus increased by 50 percent over the first three years of 2010 against the similar period of 2009 owing to the Customs Union establishment.
