Customs Union committee for technical regulation to meet in Minsk

MINSK. May 17. KAZINFORM A session of the steering committee for technical regulation, application of hygiene, veterinary and phyto-sanitary measures under the Customs Union Commission will take place in Minsk on 17 May, BelTA learnt from the press service of the State Committee for Standardization of Belarus.
According to BelTA, the experts of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia will coordinate positions on the current issues aimed at removing technical barriers in trade on the common customs territory. Special attention will be focused on the development of the Customs Union technical regulations.
In 2011 the Customs Union is expected to adopt 47 unified technical regulations. These documents contain mandatory requirements to products and production process, the rules of access for goods to the single customs territory.
